Manchester United players and fans observed a minute’s silence in honor of Queen Elizabeth II before tonight’s Europa League match against Real Sociedad.

The Queen died on Thursday at the age of 96 at her official home in Balmoral. Manchester United confirmed prior to kickoff that their Group E match would take place, but both sets of players would wear black armbands.
